This entire portfolio, built end-to-end by directing an AI coding agent through real-time design, content, and 3D interactivity decisions.
Overview
This site itself, from the data-driven page architecture to the interactive 3D brain navigation model, was built using Claude Code, an AI coding agent, with Cursor for direct hands-on edits, deployed on Vercel from a private GitHub repository.
Design Process
- Directed Claude Code through iterative rounds of building, testing, and refining real features, from page layout to a real anatomical 3D brain model used as interactive site navigation
- Used Cursor to review and hand-edit code alongside the AI-driven changes
- Version-controlled every change in a private GitHub repository, deployed continuously to Vercel
What I Learned
Building this site changed how I problem-solve. Instead of getting stuck on a bug, I learned to break it into smaller, testable pieces and describe it precisely enough for the AI to actually help. It also taught me how to prompt more effectively, specific, constraint-driven requests get far better results than vague ones, and how to use AI as a real engineering tool rather than just a shortcut.
